Templo de Debod, Madrid, June 2013

The Templo de Debod in Madrid. This genuine 2nd Century Egyptian temple as brought to Madrid in 1968, donated to Spain by the Egyptian government. It originally stood in Debod in the Nile Valley, not far from Aswan, and in fact was donated and moved to save it from being inundated as part of the construction of the Aswan Dam.
